Lake Mistake
Sigh. I dislike this one. Of the daily paintings I've done, this would be in the bottom ten. Since I regard almost everything about it as a failure, I won't spend much time talking about it. But I did learn something from this --- painting open water and a waterline and reflections takes specific practice and skill, and skill painting something else won't do. There are tricks and techniques to be learned. Eventually I hope to learn them. (No. 65, 6x8", on Raymar panel, Oct. 29, 2012)
