“What we call little things are merely the causes of great things; they are the beginning, the embryo, and it is the point of departure which, generally speaking, decides the whole future of an existence.” (Henri Frederic Amiel)

Second State: Fisherman's Wharf
I thought it might be fun to show this painting with an hour's worth of dots on it. I think the texture created by the dots has already made a difference in the interest level of the painting. The scene is of some vintage fishing boats at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. (Like last time, I had to use photoshop to correct some areas that the camera turned from light blue to white). I keep meaning to write the dimensions here, but I keep forgetting to measure. I think it's about 24"x30".
